Basket Type Filter Elements are made of metal wire filter screen into basket shape, widely used for food processing, filtration of air, flow control of lubrication oil and other filtrations.

Basket filter elements can be made in three types:

• Single-layer woven wire cloth basket filters;
• Double-layer wire mesh basket filters - outer fine mesh + inner perforated metal;
• Double layer wire mesh basket filters - inner fine mesh + outer perforated metal.

• Basket filters of Outer Fine Wire Mesh + Inner Perforated Metal is suitable for food processing requiring easy cleaning and precise filtration.
• Basket filters of Inner Fine Wire Mesh + Outer Perforated Metal is suitable for high-abrasion applications and coarse particles processing.
• Basket filters of Single-Layer Wire Mesh is popularly used for food processing.

Single Layer or Double Layer

• Single-layer wire mesh basket filters are mainly processed from food-grade woven wire cloth, 75 micron (200 mesh), 100 mesh, 150 mesh. Single layer basket filters are mainly used for low mechanical load or light pressure filtration in filtering liquids and powders.
• Double-layer basket filters are made with woven wire mesh and an additional perforated metal layer or coarser mesh layer. This type of mesh filter is mainly used for high-pressure liquid filtration, viscous material processing and abrasive particle processing in food industries.

Perforated sheet for support layer is supplied popularly with following perforation:
Round hole, slotted hole, chevron (V) perforation, square opening, customized hole.
